Salsa in Dar

14 June 2008 On Saturday 14 June, Monique Hellenberg and Goldfish are performing at Ku De Ta in Durbanville, including a performance of their latest hit, This is How it Goes off the album Perceptions of Pacha. Sakhile Moleshe will also make a guest appearance. The cost of entry to the venue is R70.

HIV Foundation Fundraiser

22 November 2007 The Desmond Tutu HIV Foundation presents a Sizzling Salsa Night on Friday 22 November 2007 with the theme Toast to the Flavours of Life. The evening features a live Salsa band, Salsa dance performances, gourmet Latin-style tapas, as well as tequila and wine tastings in adjacent rooms. Party in Constantia

Doug Masek Sax Recital

12 October 2007 Saxophonist Doug Masek is giving a recital in the Nassau Centre at Groote Schuur High School in Palmyra Road, Rondebosch on Friday 12 October at 8pm. Masek is Professor of Saxophone at UCLA and the concert is part of his South African tour. Tickets cost R60 (R40 for students and scholars). Arabian Nights

6 October 2007 There is an Arabian Nights party at ¿Que Pasa? on Saturday 6 October 2007. Doors open at 8pm. There is a R30 cover charge which includes a free cocktail. There will be a beginners' salsa class at 8:45pm, with the party starting at 9:45pm.
